Understanding National and State Issues in Workers' Compensation 2007
On January 10-11, 2007, the Employment Relations Division held an educational conference on workers’ compensation in Helena at the Best Western Helena Great Northern. The conference, an outgrowth of the ongoing Workers’ Compensation Study Project, featured speakers discussing the current status and projected trends in workers’ compensation, both Montana-specific and nationally.
Montana Facility Fee Schedule Agreement
The fee schedule was developed by the Montana Employment Relations Division. Because the fee schedule includes data that is proprietary to the American Medical Association, certain restrictions apply. These restrictions are set out below.
CPT codes and two-digit modifiers maintained in the Data are Copyright 2006 (or other such date of publication of CPT as defined by US copyright laws) the American Medical Association.
The five-character codes included in the Montana Workers’ Compensation Fee Schedule are obtained from Current Procedural Terminology (CPT®), copyright 2006 by the American Medical Association (AMA). CPT is developed by the AMA as a listing of descriptive terms and five character identifying codes and modifiers for reporting medical services and procedures performed by physicians.
The responsibility for the content of the Montana Workers’ Compensation Fee Schedule is with the Employment Relations Division and no endorsement by the AMA is intended or should be implied. The AMA disclaims responsibility for any consequences or liability attributable or related to any use, nonuse, or interpretation of information contained in the Montana Workers’ Compensation Fee Schedule. Fee schedules, relative value units, conversion factors and/or related components are not assigned by the AMA, are not part of CPT, and the AMA is not recommending their use. The AMA does not directly or indirectly practice medicine or dispense medical services. The AMA assumes no liability for data contained or not contained herein. Any use of CPT outside of the Montana Workers’ Compensation Fee Schedule should refer to the most recent Current Procedural Terminology which contains the complete and most currrent listing of CPT codes abd descriptive terms.
