60 Summits: Montana
In April 2008, the Labor-Management Advisory Council on Workers’ Compensation and the Department of Labor and Industry Employment Relations Division are hosting three summits around the state to discuss return-to-work/stay-at-work recommendations. These recommendations come out of the work disability guideline from the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
Attendees at the November 13, 2007 meeting of the Labor-Management Advisory Council were introduced to the summit process through a “mini-summit” lead by 60 Summits founder Dr. Jennifer Christian. Now the project is going statewide.
