The Data Management Unit (DMU) provides various publications for public and private entities.  Please peruse the items below and let us know if you have any questions.  Please note that all data presented is as accurate as reported.

Surveillance

Occupational Health Indicators for Montana - This publication serves as a baseline for Occupational Health Assessment for calendar years 2004-2008.  The indicators are based on the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH).  Our hope is that with further surveillance, Montana may become a safer place for all workers.

The Effects of Aging on Workers' Compensation - April 2012 - This document provides a basic overview of Workers' Compensation claims data related to aging.  Previous research suggested that aging would produce significant system impacts.  Our data shows that may not be the case.

Annual Reports

Annual Reports - This links to current and past reports that provide high-level analysis of the Montana Workers' Compensation as required annually by law.

    - 2012 Annual Report - This document provides the most current statistics related to Montana Workers' Compensation.
