Independent Contractor Study Committee
The SB270 study committee was created by the passage of Senate Bill 270 during the 2003 Montana legislative session. Senate Bill 270 requires the Commissioner of Labor and Industry to appoint an interim advisory committee to study issues related to independent contractors and to make recommendations to the 59 th legislature; and providing an immediate effective date.
