If you have a question about complying with the prevailing wage regulations (occupations, payroll forms, payment of fringe benefits, travel or per diem, etc.) you should contact the Compliance and Investigation Bureau. Call (406) 444-6543 and ask to speak to a Prevailing Wage Compliance Specialist.
The Compliance and Investigation Bureau conducts surveys to establish the prevailing wage rates for construction and nonconstruction services. If you have a question specifically about the wage rates in our publications, please contact us at (406) 444-6543.
Prevailing Wage Rates are revised and adopted yearly.
NOTICE - Changes to Prevailing Wage Law
Please be advised that as of July 1st, 2021, Miles City and Sidney are being added as dispatch cites for the purpose of calculating travel, per diem and zone pay.” This applies to all prevailing wage rate schedules. Definitions for travel, per diem, and zone pay can be found within the prevailing wage rate publications.
