Business Response to a Wage Claim
If you need to respond to a wage claim that has been filed against your business, you can do so with ease by submitting your response directly to the Department through our online portal !
If you did not receive an email from our agency regarding the wage claim, you may contact us by email at dlierdwage@mt.gov and we can provide you with the case number and PIN to get started!
Once you have created an online account, you will then be able to access and respond to the claim.

The Response forms may by requested by emailing the Department directly at dlierdwage@mt.gov .
The minimum wage is subject to a cost-of-living adjustment based on the Consumer Price Index no later than September 30th of each year. Montana’s minimum wage is to be the greater of the federal.
