The Montana Occupational Safety & Health Statistics (OSHS) Program of the Montana Department of Labor and Industry works in coordination with the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) to conduct surveys on workplace injuries and worker health. Data is collected and reported annually through the Survey of Occupational Injuries and Illnesses (SOII) and the Census of Fatal Occupational Injuries (CFOI). Final reports are kept on the ERD website for 5 years, and older reports are retained by ERD and available on request.
The Montana Department of Labor and Industry's contact for the OSHS program is Peggy Coggeshall (pcoggeshall@mt.gov or coggeshall_p@states.bls.gov or 406-444-3297).
