Data Management

The Data Management Section is responsible for the data collection and maintenance of workers' compensation claim and injury information. The team uses the claim data and other information sources to complete a comprehensive annual report on workers' compensation for the governor and the legislature, along with performing research on the workers' compensation system and related topics. Section staff work directly with insurers and third party administrators to ensure compliance with Montana claim reporting requirements and adherence to national standards.
